Egypt’s IMO Victory Showcases Its Growing Global Maritime Influence

Egypt has been elected to the Council of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in Category (C), reaffirming its influential role in global maritime transport and its contribution to securing the flow of international trade. The elections were held at the IMO headquarters in London, where Egypt’s efforts and advancements in the maritime sector received strong recognition.

As part of the Egyptian supporting delegation, Eng. Ahmed Al-Akkad engaged with representatives of various Member States, highlighting Egypt’s achievements in maritime transport and related services.
